AstroShadow is provided by an independent, small-scale project (contact details below). Using the site — generating a chart, using the numerology calculator, or browsing its content — means you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. The service

AstroShadow generates natal astrology charts and numerology profiles from the birth details you enter, and presents astrological and numerological content — archetypes, shadow/light traits, body correspondences, and related material — drawn from our own reference material.

3. Not professional advice

All content on AstroShadow — charts, archetypes, shadow work material, numerology readings, body-map correspondences — is offered for entertainment, self-reflection, and personal growth only. It is not scientific, medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice, and none of it should be treated as a substitute for professional guidance, including professional mental health care. If you're struggling or in crisis, please contact a licensed professional or a crisis line in your region rather than relying on this site.

4. Your input

You're responsible for the accuracy of the birth details you enter — we compute your chart and profile from exactly what you provide, and can't verify it independently. Don't enter another person's private information without their knowledge and consent.

5. Third-party dependence

Parts of the birth chart feature depend on external services we don't control — OpenStreetMap Nominatim for city lookup, and NASA JPL Horizons for the Nemesis asteroid position (see our Privacy Policy for what's sent to each). If either is unavailable, the affected feature may be degraded or temporarily unavailable — for example, if JPL Horizons can't be reached, your chart is still generated in full, with the Nemesis placement clearly marked as unavailable rather than guessed at.

6. Intellectual property

The archetype library, shadow-work content, numerology material, and site design are AstroShadow's own work and are protected by copyright. You're welcome to use your own generated chart and profile results for yourself, but please don't scrape, republish, or redistribute the underlying content library without permission.

7. Limitation of liability

• · The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• · We don't guarantee the site will be available, error-free, or uninterrupted, including when a third-party dependency (Nominatim, JPL Horizons) is down.
• · To the fullest extent permitted by law, AstroShadow isn't liable for decisions made, or outcomes experienced, based on content generated by the site.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of AstroShadow shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
